THE ROLE OF TIME MANAGEMENT IN ADMINISTRATIVE EFFECTIVENESS

Abstract: This study aims to explore the role of time management in enhancing administrative effectiveness, identifying key strategies that administrative personnel can employ to maximize productivity. A survey research design was chosen for its effectiveness in collecting quantitative data from a broad population, providing insights into common time management practices and their outcomes. The sample size, calculated using Taro Yamane’s formula, consists of 350 administrative staff from a healthcare institution in Abuja. This size ensures a representative sample with a manageable margin of error. The reliability coefficient score of the survey tool was 0.87, demonstrating strong reliability. The findings suggest that effective time management correlates with increased administrative productivity and reduced stress levels. Recommendations include implementing structured time management training programs and promoting a culture that values time efficiency within administrative teams
